Your Body Is Worth Investing In
Staying strong doesn’t happen by accident.
As we get older, maintaining our strength, muscle, mobility and fitness takes more intention. The things that once came easily can gradually become harder—and it’s easy not to notice the changes until they start affecting what you want to do.
Personal training gives you a plan, a coach and the accountability to actually follow through.
We’ll focus on what matters to you now, while also thinking about the body you want to have 10, 20 and 30 years from now.
Because staying strong isn’t just about fitness.
It’s about having a strong, capable body that allows you to keep doing the things you love.

What We Can Work On Together
Your training can evolve as your needs change.
You don’t have to choose just one goal. Your priorities can change over time, and your training can change with them.
Build lean muscle at any age. Training personalized to your body and progressively designed to help you get stronger—safely and sustainably.
Lose weight through strength training, sustainable nutrition habits, and consistency—not restriction, guilt, or another six-week plan.
Move with greater freedom and less stiffness. Build strength and control through your full range of motion—not by stretching harder.
Stay steady, strong, and independent as you age. Train the balance, leg strength, reaction time, and body control that prevent falls.
Stay strong and active while you recover. Your training is adapted around your injury and the guidance of your healthcare professionals.
Move with greater ease, less tension, and more confidence. Build the strength, mobility, and body awareness to help you stand taller.
The goal is not to fit you into a program. It’s to build the right program around you.
What Makes My Coaching Different
You get more than a workout.
I get to know you
Your training history, your body, your goals, your challenges and the life you’re actually living all matter. The more I understand you, the better I can coach you.
I look at the whole picture
Exercise is one piece of the puzzle. Your nutrition, sleep, stress, recovery, lifestyle and energy can all affect how you feel and how your body responds to training.
I pay attention to the details
Small things matter. How you’re moving. Where you’re compensating. What feels different. What’s getting easier. What isn’t. I’m constantly paying attention and making adjustments.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all
There’s no perfect workout for everyone. Your program is built around your body and continues to change as you do.
I want you to understand your body
I’ll explain what we’re doing and why. The more you understand your body and your training, the more confident you become in taking care of yourself.
I’m in your corner
You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. You have someone who knows you, supports you, challenges you and helps you keep moving forward.

The Quality of Coaching Doesn’t Get Lost Online
You don’t need to be in the same room to have a trainer who knows you.
One of the things my clients are often surprised by is how much I can see and correct through a screen.
With 25 years of studying the human body, I can notice subtle changes in how you’re moving and give you very specific cues—adjust your pelvis, change your alignment, shift your weight, move this way instead of that way.
I can see what your body is doing and coach you through the adjustment in real time.
Many people initially worry that online training will mean less personal attention. They quickly discover the opposite.
You get the same highly personalized coaching and attention you’d expect from training together in person—just from the comfort of your own home.
And there are some real advantages to training online. You can train wherever you are, avoid the commute to the gym and have your training fit more easily into your life.
Most importantly, I’m not simply giving you workouts to follow. I’m watching, coaching, listening and adjusting your program as you progress.
That’s what makes it personal.

Hi, I'm Katie
I specialize in helping adults 50+ get stronger, healthier and more confident in their bodies.
For more than 25 years, I’ve been helping people change how they feel and function in their bodies. I’ve made this stage of life my specialty because I understand that training after 50 requires a different approach.
My clients come to me because they want results. They want to lose weight, build muscle, get stronger, improve their fitness, move without pain, recover from an injury or simply feel better in their bodies.
But knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things. That’s where having a coach can make such a difference.
My clients value having someone who knows them, keeps them accountable and helps them stay on track with taking care of their health and fitness. And they know I genuinely care about them. I care about how they’re feeling, what’s happening in their lives and how they’re doing—not just whether they completed their workout.
Some of my clients have worked with me for 15 years or more. They stay because they value having someone in their corner who knows them, supports them, keeps them accountable and genuinely cares about their wellbeing.
I’m a personal trainer and Certified Holistic Nutritionist with a degree in kinesiology, and I bring more than 25 years of experience helping people make meaningful changes to their health and fitness.
My goal is to support you to feel strong, healthy and confident in your body—and to have someone in your corner who genuinely cares about you and keeps you on track.

Online Personal Training — Frequently Asked Questions
Is online personal training effective?
Absolutely. You still get one-to-one coaching, personalized programming and real-time feedback throughout your session. I can see how you move, correct your form and make adjustments as you train. Many of my clients are surprised by how much I can see and coach through a screen.
Is online personal training a good option for adults over 50?
Yes. In fact, this is exactly who I specialize in working with. Your training should change as you get older. We take into account your current fitness, strength, mobility, injuries, training history and goals, and build from where you are now.
Can I build muscle and get stronger after 50?
Absolutely. Your body can continue to build muscle and strength as you age. Strength training becomes even more important after 50 for maintaining muscle, supporting your bones and joints, improving balance and helping you stay independent and active.
Can personal training help me lose weight after 50?
Yes. Weight loss after 50 often requires a different approach than it did when you were younger. We’ll look at your strength training, movement, nutrition and lifestyle together and focus on changes that are realistic for your life.
What if I have an injury, pain or physical limitations?
You don’t necessarily have to stop exercising. We can modify exercises, adjust your range of motion, work around an affected area and gradually build your strength and capacity. If something is outside my scope, I’ll recommend working with the appropriate healthcare professional.
What if I’m not very fit?
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to get in shape before you start personal training. We start where you are. Your program will be appropriate for your current abilities and progress as you become stronger and more confident.
Do I need a gym or a lot of equipment?
No. One of the advantages of online personal training is that we can build your workouts around what you have available. Depending on your goals, you may need some basic equipment, but you don’t need a fully equipped gym to get stronger and fitter.
What if I already know what to do but can’t stay consistent?
This is one of the biggest reasons people work with me. Knowing what to do is one thing. Actually doing it consistently is another. Having a coach who knows you, expects you to show up, keeps you accountable and genuinely cares about how you’re doing can make all the difference.
How often should I work with a personal trainer?
It depends on your goals, schedule, current fitness and what your body can recover from. We’ll find a frequency that gives you enough consistency to make progress while still fitting into your life.
Do you include nutrition coaching?
Yes. I’m also a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, so nutrition and wellness guidance are naturally part of working with me. Personal training clients receive practical nutrition and wellness tips as part of our sessions at no additional cost. If you want more in-depth nutrition coaching, we can also set aside dedicated time for that.
Can I work with you if I travel or spend part of the year somewhere else?
Absolutely. That’s one of the benefits of online personal training. You can continue working with me wherever you are, so your training doesn’t have to stop because you’re travelling, spending the winter somewhere else or away from home.
